Angela Boyle, MS, EDAC

Executive Director, NIHD

Angela has been the Executive Director of NIHD since 2016.

She holds a BA degree in Interior Architecture, and a MSc degree in Evidence Based Design from the University of Minnesota. Her master's thesis sought to understand nurses’ interactions with one another in two small-sized single-patient room (SPR) designed neonatal intensive care units (NICU). 

Alongside her master's degree curriculum, she completed the Health Care Design and Innovation Post-Baccalaureate Certificate. This certificate program, along with elective graduate courses in nursing and evidence-based design, have allowed her to carve out a unique place in a small but growing subset of design.
