NIHD Foundation

The mission of the Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design (NIHD) is ‘To engage and integrate clinical expertise into the planning and design of Healthcare Environments.’ NIHD promotes the collaboration of inter-professional expertise in the healthcare design process.

To support this mission, NIHD’s Foundation (NIHDF), a 501(c)(3), will provide funds for the education and research initiatives of NIHD. NIHDF provided Stichler Scholarships to two NIHD members to attend the 2022, 2023 and 2024 Healthcare Design Conference + Expo, and presented the inaugural Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurse Leader in Healthcare Design in 2024.
