The NIHDF’s mission is to provide financial support to NIHD members for education and scholarship opportunities. For example, the NIHDF was able to provide scholarships for two NIHD members to attend the 2023 Healthcare Design Conference + Expo. Below, we highlight the recipients:

Going to the conference will deepen my understanding of current best practices and emerging trends in healthcare design. As a consultant in the field, I will leverage the knowledge gained to support the options and recommendations I provide to my clients.

I hope to gain the ability to immerse myself in a dynamic learning environment, network with industry professionals, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights and resources that will ultimately enhance my ability to contribute to the design of healthcare environments.
