Brooke is a dynamic healthcare leader with extensive experience, serving in a variety of nursing and operations leadership roles in both acute care and outpatient settings. She has a strong record of mentorship and fostering multidisciplinary collaboration. Brooke is recognized for combining her highly effective communication style with strong project management skills. Many of her most successful projects were in the built environment arena, particularly in leading multidisciplinary teams integrating designers, construction professionals, and clinicians in prioritizing efficient and evidence-based design processes. Since 2020 she has provided consultation services directly to healthcare organizations, through consulting firms, and healthcare architecture firms on the continuum from planning, design, construction, transition and activation, to post occupancy.
In addition to her educational degrees, Brooke holds a post-Masters Certificate in Leadership and Innovation in Health + Design from Clemson University. This program was a collaborative venture between the School of Nursing and the Graduate Program in Architecture and positioned her as a leader in this unique domain, bridging design and construction with clinical implementation.
Due to her recognized expertise, for the past two years, Brooke has served as a member of the 2026 Facilities Guidelines Institute (FGI) Health Guidelines Revision Committee (HGRC) for the Outpatient Document Group. The FGI is the body that sets the standards for healthcare planning, design and construction for adoption by the states for regulatory purposes and the promotion of safe practices across all healthcare settings.
