Kate Newcomb-DeSanto MSN, RN, MSW, EDAC

With over 25 years of experience, Kate has been a noteworthy leader in the healthcare space. For the past seven years, she has served as a part of the PennFIRST design and construction team, delivering the 1.5M sq ft, $1.6B Pavilion for Penn Medicine. In that role, Kate was responsible for user integration in the project, spatial design and operationalization, workflow planning, transition of the facility and activation of the spaces for both patients and staff. A passionate leader, Kate strives to create purposeful, useful clinical and facility spaces that use design to impact not only improvements in patient care but allow for growth and ongoing incorporation of future technologies as well. Kate is a graduate of Wilmington University (MSN), Drexel University (BSN), Widener University (MSW), and Rutgers University (BA).
