Susan brings more than three decades of healthcare experience, uniting clinical insight, strategic vision, and operational expertise to create environments that advance patient care, safety, and innovation. After earning an MBA from The Ohio State University, following a decade in nursing that spanned bedside care, administration, and clinical research, Susan transitioned into healthcare planning and design—becoming one of the first professionals to champion the clinical voice as a driver of design decisions.

Her work spans the full planning spectrum, from early strategy and operational modeling to transition planning and activation. Susan collaborates with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that frontline workflows and patient needs shape every design solution. She has supported projects of every scale—from billion-dollar academic medical center campus expansions and complex interventional platform renovations to smaller, high-impact initiatives—working with leading organizations such as Massachusetts General Hospital, UPMC, and the Veterans Health Administration. In each engagement, she ensures that facilities enhance care rather than impede it.
