Meet us in the Clinician's Lounge | Cultivating the Next Generation of Young, Inclusive Designers Through Storytelling. This Clinician’s Lounge invites Maria VanDeman, interior designer and sales manager for OFS, and Doug Shapiro, host of the Imagine a Place podcast, to shed insight into their children’s book, Design Your World. With DEI interwoven in powerful storytelling, Maria and Doug encourage young readers to harness the power of design in their environment as self-advocacy. Design Your World challenges designers both new and seasoned: How may we raise under-represented voices in design and take action as organizations to promote inclusivity in welcoming the next generation?
